Biologic and advanced therapies have transformed the management of auto-immune inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis. Many patients taking these therapies will ask pharmacists questions regarding how to optimize these medications. The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic has also led to challenges regarding initiating these agents, maintaining adherence, and reducing their infection risk. This presentation will provide pharmacists answers to many of the common questions their patients have regarding these therapies.
